Dr. Robert Hull, D.D.S.
Dr. Robert Hull, a native of Lexington, Virginia, graduated from Washington and Lee University with a degree in Biology in 1996. He went on to study at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with his D.D.S. in 2000. He finished ranked 2nd in his class clinically, having completed more procedures at that time than any other student in CWRU history. The O.O.A. M. S named him the Case Western’s Dental Student of the Year in 2000. He also volunteered at the Free Clinic of Cleveland.
After graduation in 2000, he obtained a score of 99% out of 100% on the SRTA boards. Shortly thereafter, he joined into his father’s private practice in Lexington, Virginia. A year later, he helped to relocate his rapidly growing practice to a larger, state-of-the art facility with the help of Henry Schein Dental.
In 2006, Dr. Robert established his own general practice, with a continued emphasis on quality dentistry and a wide mix of procedures utilizing as much current, beneficial technology as possible to increase quality, comfort, productivity and profitability. Some of these technologies he has successfully incorporated include digital radiography and imaging, laser procedures, and CAD/CAM dentistry via the E4D system.
Dr. Robert occasionally lectures around the region to other dentists on modern technology and current dental techniques for Schein, Ivoclar, and E4D technologies. He has volunteered at the Free Clinic in Rockbridge County. He participates in Donated Dental Services and he is currently on the state Committee for the New Dentist. He is a member of the ADA, VDA, and SVDA. He travels around the country, whenever possible, to learn from the key opinion leaders in modern dentistry.
Dr. Robert is married with 3 beautiful children and resides in Lexington, Virginia.
Dina is an Arizona native. She was born and raised in Tucson. In 1997 she moved to Flagstaff, AZ where she graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Advertising from the school of Communication in 2001. Directly after graduating NAU, she took a job in Public Relations with a hospital in Central Arizona. Dina loved working in the healthcare industry where she grew relationships with patients and public alike.
Prior to moving to Lexington, Dina worked as a Membership Director for a private resort and golf club in Sedona, AZ. She enjoyed coordinating club activities, events, charity functions and serving on the Executive Committee.
She moved to Lexington with her son in 2006 where she worked as a Floral Designer and Wedding Coordinator for six years. During that time, she served as a volunteer with Lexington Fire/Rescue and was an active member with the Lexington Jaycees. Dina joined our practice in August 2011.
When Dina isn't working she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin; son, Jaden; and Golden Retriever, Riley. She also enjoys camping, traveling, gardening, hiking and volunteering within her community.
Crystal was born in Lexington, VA she became a part of our practice in March 2007. She attended Buena Vista City Schools and graduated from Parry McCluer High School in 1997. Crystal began working in the dental field in February 1998. She enjoys working with the general public and being part of a dental team in Rockbridge County. Things that she enjoys in her spare time are spending time with her husband, family and friends, attending church, hiking, taking pictures, camping, feeding wildlife, but most of all fishing from their boat. Crystal and her husband Aaron live in Lexington.
Brittany Ehrhard, R.D.H.
Brittany was born and raised in Mt. Jackson, Virginia. Beginning in grade school she knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist. As soon as she graduated high school she started taking classes at Lord Fairfax Community College, where she earned an Associate’s Degree in General Studies. She was accepted into the Virginia Western Community College dental hygiene program in 2010. While in dental hygiene school Brittany served as Student Virginia Dental HygieneAssociation President for two years and did many fundraising and public health projects. Brittany graduated in May of 2012 and received the “Student Virginia Dental Hygiene Association Award,” given for academic excellence, clinical ability, and community involvement. Brittany earned a 100% on her NERB clinical board, holds a Virginia Licensure, and is active in American Dental Hygiene Association.
Brittany joined Dr. Hull’s practice in August 2012. She and her husband, Andy, now live in Christiansburg, VA. When Brittany isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, family and her shiloh shepherd, Sadie. She loves being outdoors, cooking, working out, and kayaking down the Rappahannock Rive
Alyssa Persinger, R.D.H.
Alyssa is a native of Asheboro, North Carolina. Although her family moved around quite a bit during her childhood, they settled in Covington, Virginia, where she still resides today .
Alyssa attended Alleghany High School, where she participated in Beta Club and was on the Varsity cheerleading squad. She graduated with honors in 2008 (two years early!), then went on to take General Studies courses at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College. She decided to pursue a degree in Dental Hygiene, and transferred to Virginia Western Community College in 2012. Alyssa graduated May 2014 with her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene, and joined our practice in July.
In June 2014 , Alyssa married her sweetheart of 4 years. When not at work, she enjoys kayaking, playing cornhole, cooking out, and completing home renovation projects with her new husband, as well as spending time with each of their families.
Daya was born and raised in the foothills of Northern California, in a small town called Oroville. She is the middle child of five, and the only "Ginger" in the bunch.
She started working in the Veterinary field when she was sixteen years old. She loves animals of all kinds, large, small and exotics. She has a seven year old Australian Shepherd mix named Ollie, who is her constant companion. They have lived in Utah, New Mexico and most recently Lake Tahoe California.
Daya moved to Buena Vista in August of 2012 and is still getting used to living in the country. She is really enjoying living here and the beautiful countryside!
Daya enjoys playing and watching sport of all kinds. She played college softball and still considers that her favorite sport to play. Camping, crafts, art and music are also favorites of hers. She also enjoys teaching her 14-15 year old class at the LDS Church.
When not at work you can find her at school, running a muck with Ollie, or playing with her nephews and niece. She loves being with family and friends!
Tudy was born in Lexington, Virginia, and she was raised in a little community, known as Collierstown.
In June 2010, Tudy graduated from Rockbridge County High School with multiple accomplishments. While keeping her grades up in school, she was a cheerleader for seven years, a member of FFA, FCCLA, and HOSA. She also was awarded three scholarships for her continuing education. Tudy obtained her CNA and CPR certifications through a Health Assistant class that was two years long.
In August 2010, she attended Virginia Western Community College for a year and a half to complete all of her pre requisites for Jefferson College of Health Sciences. While attending VWCC, she was listed on the Dean’s List.
In Spring 2012, she began her first semester at JCHS. While attending, she volunteered at the Mission of Mercy Project in Roanoke, Virginia for twenty five plus hours in one weekend. Tudy also was announced on the Dean’s List for her outstanding grades. She is expected to graduate from JCHS in the spring of 2015 with her Bachelor Science degree in Nursing; BSN, RN.
April 2013, she will be marrying her high school sweet heart of six years. She believes that they will remain in Lexington, due to family, friends, and their happiness.
While not at work, Tudy enjoys deer hunting, camping, scrapbooking, clogging, keeping her faith in God, and other than hanging out with her fiancé, she loves spending time with her amazing parents and brother.
