New Patients

Your doctor and staff look forward to meeting you and making every dental visit a pleasant one, starting with your first visit. We will do everything possible to make your dental visits as comfortable and beneficial for you. A healthy, confident smile is important to your well-being and health. By helping you take care of any problems or discomfort now, we can help you avoid more serious and expensive issues down the road.

First Things First
Upon scheduling your first visit, please consult with our Scheduling Coordinator whom can assist you in getting your records transferred before your first visit. If you have dental insurance, we will ask for some information listed on your card. Keep it handy when calling to schedule. This way, we will have a detailed breakdown of your benefits before you arrive.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out your New Patient paperwork. This will help our staff to get to know you better. This is a great time to also get any preliminary questions answered by our front office staff that you may have. You will be sent a link to the Patient Portal where you can complete your New Patient paperwork online. Please be advised when you are sent the link, the temporary password expires in 24 hours. If your password expires, simply contact us and we can send you a new e-mail.

What To Expect At Your First Visit
Plan on spending about an hour in our office. If you have x-rays from a previous dentist, those will be reviewed, along with your medical history and dental health concerns. If your x-rays need to be updated, we will take any necessary x-rays at your first visit for your dentist to help evaluate your oral health. Your dentist will look for signs of:

  • Tooth decay
  • Bone Loss
  • Oral Cancer
  • Periodontal (gum) disease

Treatment Plan
Your dentist will customize a treatment plan based on his clinical findings. This will specify what type of cleaning you will need to be scheduled for, along with any additional visits and recommendations for home care. The dental team will review your treatment plan with you, review options and assist in scheduling your upcoming visits.

Cancellation Policy
We reserve a dedicated time for your visits at our office. If you find it necessary to cancel, please provide a 24-hour advance notice. Without this proper notice, you may be charged a $50 cancellation fee.

Our professional and caring staff looks forward to seeing you in the office. We are committed to providing you and your family with the very finest of dental service and technology. The greatest compliment you can give us is the referral to one of your friends or family members.
